At AIESEC, we want to give young people the opportunity to develop themselves and their leadership skills through intercultural internships. Here is why these internships will jump-start your career:
Expand your horizon by allowing yourself to develop your professional career in a global setting. Find an internship across the world and work in a whole new environment and work culture, while adapting to the local life in another country.
Gain work experience in any of the following areas: HR, Marketing, Education, IT, Engineering, Project Management, and many others. Our pool of opportunities is always growing, with new industries and fields being added.
Grow and develop yourself by going through practical experiences and learning-by-doing. An intense cross-cultural environment allows you to increase your self-awareness and solution orientation, improve communication skills and develop a global mindset, while gaining valuable work experience.
Our Global Talent projects last from 6 up to 78 weeks, so you will be abroad for at least 6 weeks. We offer short term (6-12 weeks), mid term (13-26 weeks) and long term (27-78 weeks) projects. With AIESEC, you can leave all year round.
We have 80+ destinations all over the world and, depending on the project, you can end up working for small businesses or multinationals. We have different opportunities available on all scales of businesses. There are different job descriptions available depending on the needs of the company.
The pricing starts from 350 euros up to 400 euros, depending on the duration of the exchange. In this fee all guidance of AIESEC is included. Depending on the opportunity, you will receive either a salary to cover your costs or be provided with accommodation for the duration of your experience abroad.
You will get the chance to jump-start your career and gaining practical experience besides or after your studies. You will meet and work with people from all over the world, which will give you new perspectives. Besides that, AIESEC will guide you through all the steps and make sure you are not alone.
Starting your first job in an unknown country can be challenging. Luckily, AIESEC is there to guide and support you during your exchange. You will get an AIESEC buddy in Belgium and a buddy in the country you are going to. They will be always there to support and advise you.
Getting the right visa, arriving in an unknown country is not always easy! That’s why AIESEC will help you to arrange your visa, provide you with arrival pick-up information before your experience and with departure instructions post-experience.
You want to do the job you signed up for, right? We will ensure that by accompanying you to the workplace on the first day, ensuring your job description and making sure your goals are clear, and working hours align to the initial description.
We don’t want you to leave unprepared, and that’s why life and health insurance is mandatory for taking part in an AIESEC exchange. Besides that, we will provide you with all needed information, so you are fully prepared for when you get there!
We don’t want you to depart without expectations: we want you to get the most out of this as possible! Together, we will set clear expectations, provide cultural preparation and facilitate learning spaces before and during your experience.
